She certainly has her hands full as a newly-single mother of four, but Heidi Klum is doing her best to manage her parental duties during the life transition period.
The “Project Runway” beauty, who recently split from now ex-husband Seal, was spotted taking her brood out for a bite to eat in Brentwood, CA on Saturday afternoon (February 4).
After chowing down on a tasty Italian lunch at Divino Restaurant, Miss Klum held her eldest child Leni’s hand upon exiting the eatery as two nanny helpers followed along with Henry, Johan and Lou Samuel.
And while she was still wearing her wedding ring during the weekend outing, insiders tell that Heidi and Seal “have zero plans to get back together.”
One source went as far as revealing Us Weekly that the 38-year-old German model is “pissed off” at her ex over his “on-air soul-searching” during post-breakup appearances on a full slate of programs including “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “Piers Morgan” and “Access Hollywood”.
The biggest sporting event of the year is just a few hours away, and in the moments leading up to Super Bowl XLVI, everyone seems to be picking a side. Multiplatinum producer Timbaland, who’s looking for the New England Patriots to defeat the New York Giants on Sunday night (February 5), decided to make a song about it.
“I just did it almost to be playing around, just to do it,” Timbaland told MTV News on Friday from his home in Miami. “It turned out bigger than what I thought.”
The song, which is dedicated to Patriots tight end Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski was uploaded to YouTube last week with the football star’s name as its title. The track was produced by Virginia native Tim and Wizz Dumb, but it’s newcomer Brasco who rhymes on the energetic tune. “They’re yelling, ‘Touchdown, touchdown, 87, 87,” he raps, referring to Gronk’s number.
Gronkowski has 90 catches and 17 touchdowns this season but after suffering a high-ankle sprain, #87 is listed as questionable and may not play in the Super Bowl, though multiple sources tell ESPN that Gronkowski is doing better and is expected to play.
Whether or not Gronk plays, Timbaland is rooting for New England.
“I’ve always been a Tom Brady fan,” he said of the Pats’ quarterback and biggest star. “I’ve always liked the Patriots, how they move, how the coach coaches, how the players ? you don’t hear too much about their business in the media.”
The last time these two teams faced off for the championship was in 2008′s Super Bowl XLII, and the Giants came out on top. So for New England and their faithful following, Sunday’s big game is a chance at redemption. “It’s like a fight. You get one up, the Giants got one up so, of course, the Patriots gotta win,” Timbaland said. “If the Patriots win, it’ll be a tie. … Hopefully, they’ll win. I think they’re ready.”

They share a connection thanks to “American Idol,” and past winner Carrie Underwood teamed up with current judge Steven Tyler for an Indiana State Fairgrounds Pepsi Coliseum performance in Indianapolis on Saturday night (February 4).
The duo took the stage to the crowds delight while treating the audience to a set including a rockin’ rendition of Carrie’s hit song “Before He Cheats” as part of the CMT Crossroads Live From ‘Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam’ event.
Prior to taking the stage, Carrie and Steven spoke about one another during a show promo, with the Aerosmith rocker saying, “You were why I took judging for ‘Idol,’ you are exactly why. Not only could you sing good, but you adapted to this…it’s a pit! It’s a deep, dark, ominous pit. And you get out there on-stage at night with that band, that great band you’ve got and you make people feel happy, first and foremost. All the rest, if people knew what we went through to get out on that stage… you have gotten past that and not a lot of people do – they have to get through drugs and alcohol, booze and divorces and even those didn’t make it. You were a natural at it.”
Offering up kind words about Tyler in return, Miss Underwood said, “I remember as a very small child, I could pick your voice out. Even then, you know that it’s different, you know that it’s special and can pick it out from a million other voices. You were definitely part of what gave me that musical, laid-back, in-the-pocket sensibility on albums and stuff like that.”
With Justin Bieber in full-on album recording mode, his longtime manager, Scooter Braun, has heard just what the teen star is up to and wants everyone to know that Believe is a game-changer for the singer.
“Wow!! In the studio with @justinbieber and #Believe is going to be ridiculous!!!” he tweeted about the 17-year-old’s 2012 release. Braun’s message came the same day that Bieber announced that he’s officially working on the project.
“Start recording full time for #BELIEVE today. let the fun begin! #newMusic,” he tweeted on Tuesday, hours later adding, “#studio.”
But it seems that he’ll take a break to hit up the Consumer Electronics Show, which is currently under way in Las Vegas. “Gonna see what is coming next. #gadgetNERD,” he proclaimed.
While Bieber has said that he wants his next release to recall Justin Timberlake’s Future Sex/Love Sounds sonically, in a recent interview with V magazine, he noted that what he’ll be singing is a bit more PG than the topics Timberlake covered on that album.
“I’m not going to try to conform to what people want me to be or go out there and start partying, have people see me with alcohol. I want to do it at my own pace,” Bieber says in the issue. “I don’t want to start singing about things like sex, drugs and swearing. I’m into love, and maybe I’ll get more into making love when I’m older. But I want to be someone who is respected by everybody.”
Bieber may not want to get too graphic on this album, but vocal producer Kuk Harrell did note to MTV News that he will be maturing on it in his own way.
“The only conversation we’ve had about Justin’s album that we’re about to do is it’s really important that it’s the proper transition because we’ve seen him [with] ‘Baby,’ now we’re watching him grow up,” said Harrell, who also worked with the singer on Under the Mistletoe. “And we can’t just throw him into the adult game right away. It has to be the proper transition. There’s a record in between.”

The twins who took part in the infamous donkey semen/urine stunt on “Fear Factor” that never aired are now being courted by a porn website — but don’t worry … there are no animals involved.
Twins Brynne and Claire Odioso — who drank the urine and semen, respectively — have been offered a gig by the folks at MyGirlFund.com … a website where girls get on camera and chat about politics (or something like that).
The site wants the girls to join their team, where they will have “the platform and tools to earn $50,000 or more quickly in a respectful and empowering environment.”
If you are watching the ABC Family breakout hit show Jane By Design then you already know that the lovely Erica Dasher is killing it as Jane Quimby. If you aren?t watching then you should be but more on that later let?s get back to Erica, who I had the chance to interview the other day and let me say she is awesome.
Erica Dasher may be new to the business but she interview like a pro, I was fortunate to be a part of a Q&A interview session last week and she was a delight to speak with. Full of information and insight into Erica, Jane, her co-stars and well some other fun stuff. Dasher had nothing but amazing things to say about her cast members, especially the oh so talented Andie MacDowell, who she described as incredible and a woman who gives 110% to the show and those she works with. The chemistry between Andie, Erica and the rest of the cast is amazing. It doesn?t come as a surprise to the Dasher, who was cast first, which means she had to come in to read with all the other characters in order to find the best chemistry, smart idea on the producers part I have to say. Don?t ask her who she likes working with better though between all the men in Jane?s life because she says they are all great and she is wonderful friends with each guy.
While talking with Erica she revealed that she actually broke her ankle during the time she was auditioning for Jane. She had gone through the first part of the process, the pre-read and the call back and right before the test she was at a café, writing when she got a call from her manager that she was testing for the show. It was the first time Dasher was ever called in to test for a show, so she got so excited that as she walked outside of the café and there was a step into the parking lot that she fell over. Erica had to wear a big boot so that she could walk around during the test the next day. Not only that but she had to film the first episode with her broken foot, what trooper huh.
I was lucky enough to get the chance to speak with Erica one and one. She was more than willing to open up and share, which made the whole experience so enjoyable for me. It was a blast to chat with her.
Rachelle: Can you tell me a behind the scenes moment that stands out to you that you think our fans would enjoy? Erica Dasher: A behind the scenes moment, I will share one. Andie and I went to Fashion Week in the middle of production for two days and it was a really overwhelming experience. I had never done it before. The L?Oreal executives were backstage, Andie has been the face of L?Oreal for 25 years so she introduced me to everybody. People wanted to take pictures with her and she pulled me into every photo and into every interview. It was a really lovely thing. She?s a great role model. Oh and a separate thing, there was a lot of dancing on set. They would call ?Cut,? and people would put on LMFAO, for some reason they became this sort of set band, there was a lot of dancing in between takes.
Rachelle: How you are similar and different to the character of Jane? Erica Dasher: I think Jane and I are in a similar place in our lives because she?s getting to live her dream in the fashion world and I?m really getting to do that in the acting world. It?s scary, amazing and exciting, so I think that passion we really share. She?s much better dressed than I am though, so that is how we are different.
Rachelle: How has your life changed since you got the show and it?s been airing? Erica Dasher: It hasn?t really changed a lot just yet. The publicity side of the job is a big change. I do a lot of events and talking to you lovely people, that?s been the biggest change. Also where I am online, on Twitter, people are looking at it and reading it, so I just have to be a little bit more conscious about what I?m putting out into the world, that is a big change as well.
Rachelle: How did you get involved in acting? Was it something you had a passion for since you were a child? Erica Dasher: Yes, I was a really precocious, obnoxious kid. I had a teacher that stuck me in a theater class so I started doing theater very young. Then I did speech and debate, and the speech side of speech and debate is like competitive acting. I did that from sixth grade all through high school and went to speech camp too. I did theater all through high school and then I studied theater in college. So I?ve always wanted to do it. I didn?t start auditioning professionally until I graduated, but it?s always been a part of my life.
Since the show is set in the fashion world it only made sense that it be discussed. Erica revealed that her own personal style is vintage. However now that she has to keep up on the going ons in the fashion biz she is branching out a little more, some of that has to do with the show?s amazing costume designer Olivia Miles-Payne who has exposed her to a lot of young designers. Interestingly enough I am so not a fashion guru either but watching this show kind of makes me want to experiment more with fashion.
Before the interview ended it was revealed that the Jane By Design star has a documentary called Speak Easy that is actually a movie about speech and debate. Erica is looking at taking it to festivals where she hopes it will get picked up by a TV station or even better make its way onto the big screen, so be on the look out for that. Last but not least the star of a hit show of course has to have her own favorite TV show and Dasher revealed her favorite is Modern Family. She is a talented actress, a lovely woman and has killer taste in TV shows. Yes Erica Dasher is one you should keep your eye on for sure.
Jane By Design airs Tuesday nights at 9PM EST on ABC Family if you haven?t seen it I highly recommend you do.
Ja Rule knew he didn?t have much time to record the last cuts of his long anticipated-album, ?Pain Is Love 2.? Cops had found a gun in his Maybach and he?d been convicted of attempted gun possession. He was about to start his sentence.
?My back was against the wall,? Ja Rule told the Daily News in an exclusive interview Tuesday. ?I didn?t think we?d have time to do what I set out to do, but it came together much better than I could ever imagine.?
Ja?s fans couldn?t agree more. In 24 hours, Hype Williams? music video of ?Real Life Fantasy,? his duet with Anita Louise, got 3 million hits on WorldStarHipHop.com. Fans will soon hear the rest, like his virtuosic rap ?Pray for the Day,? the heartfelt ?Drown,? and the lushly produced ?Superstar,? Ja?s musing on fame, when the album drops Feb. 28.

Channel 7, who produced ?Pain Is Love 2,? told The News there was a synergy in the studio that felt ?supernatural.?
?Anyone who was a part of those sessions felt the intense creative energy in the room, and knew we were on a mission,? 7 recalled. ?I remember at the last session, at one point the studio assistant got really choked up and emotional. He admitted that witnessing Ja record this album with everything happening with the prison bid looming, yet still staying so focused, inspired him to have the strength to deal with his own issues. I felt that? we all did.
??Pray For the Day? was playing on the big speakers and Ja was like, ?I said what I needed to say to the fans. I?m ready.?
?We all knew he was going to prison the next day. It was a heavy moment. I think everyone in the room was pretty overwhelmed.?
?This record is a labor of love,? said Ja?s spokeswoman Melanie Bonvicino. ?He knew he was going to jail.?
At Mid-State Correctional Facility, the steel doors slam with a jarring clang. They?ve shut behind Cormega, Prodigy, a Supreme Court judge, and CEO Dennis Kozlowski, who all got out, as Ja Rule will in a year.
Turning Stone Resort and Casino is just down the road, but for now, Ja?s luck has temporarily run out. In those unmistakable stentorian tones, he tells The News he?s making the best of it.
?I didn?t know how strong I was,? Ja says. ?My uncle sent me a poem about an oak tree doing battle with the wind, which breaks its limbs and tears its bark, but it?s still standing, because of its strong roots. It?s a metaphor for life.?
Ja?s roots are in Hollis, Queens, where he was born Jeffrey Atkins on Leap Day 36 years ago.
In what’s been one of the year’s closest races thus far, “Chronicle” has edged out the competition while making its way atop the box office over the weekend of February 3-5, 2012.
The Josh Trank directed drama/sci-fi motion picture took home an approximate $8.6 million on Friday and another $10.3 million on Saturday while pacing towards a pack-leading $22.2 million total.
Just slightly behind “Chronicle” is Daniel Radcliffe’s new movie “The Woman In Black,” which spooked up an estimated $8.3 million and $9.8 million on Friday and Saturday, respectively, while projected to end up with $21.5 million during its first weekend of release.
Rounding out the top five at the box office in estimated weekend totals are last week’s winner “The Grey” ($9.8 million), followed by the Drew Barrymore/John Krasinski starring whale tale “Big Miracle” ($8.5 million) and Kate Beckinsale’s “Underworld: Awakening” ($5.8 million).
New York eatery Joanne Trattoria ? which is backed by the singer and run by her parents Cynthia and Joseph ? was criticized on opening on Wednesday for its ?clueless? waiters and ?unspeakably fatty? food.
Food critic Steve Cuzzo wrote a damning review for the New York Post newspaper, entitled ?You?ll gag on the food at Gagas?.
He blasted: ?You don?t expect a brand-new eatery to be running on all cylinders. But Joanne, owned by the pop superstar?s parents, last night was running mainly on acrid-smelling burnt vinegar wafting intermittently through the raucous dining room.
?Clueless busboys wandered the floor, performing no other function than to pour tap water into sparkling.?
The critic went on to slam the ?overpriced? and ?unspeakably fatty veal osso bucco?, complained about a 50-minute wait for food and branded the grilled calamari as ?the worst I?ve had in a lifetime of squid-mongering.?
Despite his comments, Steve was lambasted for reviewing the restaurant on its opening night.
One reader hit back online, saying: ?Who in their right mind goes to a restaurant on opening, let alone review it?? However, the critic insisted his review was justified because of the extent of the promotion Gaga ? who was not present for the opening ? and her parents had done in the lead up to it welcoming customers.
He wrote: ?The Germanottas, [Art] Smith [chef] and Gaga herself, with the windiest hype machine east of the Pacific, have been trumpeting the joint for months. For Day One, couldn?t they at least get some people who act like they?ve seen the inside of a restaurant before??
